When training, there should be a plan.
A purpose. There's lots of people just "working out"(and There's nothing wrong with that if your staying active to an extent).
And then there's those that give 100% no matter what all year long.
Here's the thing:
Your body needs it's rest.
Your body needs it's fats.
Your body needs the high intensity volumes of life.
It's called Balance.
But if(just like anything you do in life) you give 100% all year long, your body will begin to breakdown because of high intensity which never allows the body to "Heal".
It's ok to give 60% on a workout,80%,and even 100%. Again, balance is the target objective. So if you want to eliminate those knick-knack injuries, rest, have a light day. Let your mind, body, and soul have balance, this way you can always have effective productivity in all phases of life.
