"The Abdominals"

The abdominal is a paired muscle running vertically on each side of the anterior wall of the human abdomen.There are 4 departments of the "Ab" area: The rectus abdominus (which is the midsection),external oblique (which are the sides),the internal oblique (which is right next to the rectus between that and the external oblique),& the transversus abdominus(which are the lower walls near the lower rectus,where both women and men "have the belly"). All of these "departments" deliver postural support. Good disciplines of general strength are pilates,yoga,t'ai chi,and jogging.
