"THE BARBELL BENCH PRESS"

The barbell bench press has been the staple of chest development for males and females all over the world since fitness has existed.

Here's a few examples of the benefits of doing this exercise:

-Predictor of upper body strength

This sets the tone range for which you know about where you are as far as strength in the push position.

-Bigger pec major

This is what is considered the"Glamour muscle".

The barbell bench press focuses on this muscle the most. If done correctly,you will see a beautiful development form which gives the chest a round,full look.

-Stronger pec minor

Even though other exercises focus on this more(inclines/declines etc...), this muscle is underneath the "Glamour muscle",and gets stronger as you move up in weight.
